The practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. We will only release test results to the person whom they relate to, and not to friends or relatives, until that person has given prior permission for the release of the resutls.
If you have had multiple tests performed, it would be helpful if you could inform the receptionist which result you are contacting us about and whether the test was perfomed in the practice or at the hospital (along with the date the test was performed). If you had your test done at the hospital it is probably best you call them first.
Cervical Smear Tests
The nurses and female GP provide smear tests. Please make your appointment via the receptionist.
Results are sent to you direct from SCCRS (Scottish Cervical Call and Recall Service).
